Strategic Partnership Analyst – Bucharest

As a Strategic Partnership Analyst, you will work alongside senior management to structure strategic partnerships for
our most important product line. You will act as a bridge between multiple stakeholders, including Sales, Finance,
Customer Success, Operations, and Legal, to ensure the financial sustainability of partnerships. You will create
business proposals (quotes) for all products and services, oversee deals to meet financial and profitability targets,
and contribute to revenue, profit optimization, and service quality through data-driven decision making and analysis of
various data sources (e.g., live traffic, and CRM systems). Additionally, you will work on improvements and suggest
upgrades to business-related processes, procedures, tools, and services.

Reports to: VP of Deal Desk

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pricing Strategy: Analyze market conditions and cost structures to determine optimal pricing for products or services, ensuring competitiveness and profitability.
  • ‍‍Deal Structuring: Collaborate with sales teams and management to structure the company’s upcoming strategic partnerships with industry players, sizing the potential upside, costs (like revenue commitments, buying /selling rates & discounts, prepayments and payment terms) and accounting for risk factors, bundling options to meet customer needs and company goals.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate potential risks associated with deals, including credit exposure risk, and deal contract terms and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
  • ‍‍Data Analysis: Analyze historical sales data and market trends to provide insights that inform sales strategies, identifying growth opportunities and target markets.
  • ‍Process Optimization: Streamline the quote-to-cash process to minimize errors and accelerate deal closure, enhancing the company’s revenue.
  • Track the profitability of all deals with customers and suggest new ways to increase it. Provide daily reporting to internal stakeholders with quality analysis with a special focus on top customers. Maintain a detailed overview of VOX’s products and solutions from the technical and commercial points of view and keep track of any changes and upgrades.
  • ‍Customer Interaction: Occasionally interact directly with customers to address pricing or contractual inquiries, ensuring clarity and satisfaction.
  • ‍Training and Support: Provide Sales teams with training and support on pricing strategies, deal management tools, and processes.
  • Close collaboration with all stakeholders (Deal Desk/Sales/Traffic analyst/Customer Success/Operations) in terms of customer strategy.
  • Engage in mentoring more junior members and participate in the on boarding process.
  • Keep up with the updates from the industry, market trends, and customer strategies. Improve processes and performance by introducing new knowledge and  methodology to the team and/or department.

Skills:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Power Bi and/or SQL skills.
  • University degree in business, economics, IT, or similar domains.
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use data analytics and data patterns to provide insights, and help in decision-making.
  • Attention to detail and strong Team Player.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an analyst role in consulting, M&A, VC, PE or the banking sector.
  • Previous experience in sizing the upside of diverse business actions.
